High School Dating Advice: How to Flirt with Guys

Hey guys. My name is Shallon and I’m here to help you with all the questions you might have about love, lust, romance, and everything in between. Ladies flirting with boys can be so easy that once you get the hang of it you’ll be doing it almost everywhere. But don’t make this huge mistake of thinking that being the loudest girl in the group is going to get you the most attention. I mean it will, but not the right kind of attention that you want. Think about it. Is the loudest, most obnoxious girl in any group of friends the most attractive? Probably not. The really attractive girl is probably the one who’s being a little more subtle and a little bit more demure because that is the key to flirting, subtlety. You don’t have to do great, huge, crazy, grand things to get a guy’s attention. Number one, you always want to make eye contact with the guy you have the hots for. And if you’re talking to him try and ask him a question. Men love to feel useful. So anytime you can ask him a question or his advice or opinion he’s going to love it. And always thank him for his help. I know it’s not exactly the most feminist thing, but it works. Be positive. If you strike up a conversation, don’t make it brousey or complainy about this or that. Bring up something that’s positive because if you’re talking about something positive, you’ll be smiling and everybody is hotter when they’re smiling. Make sure that you let him approach you. Remember, you’re the bait, not the fish. Guys like to be aggressive. Women, we kind of do to, but you have to let a man come to you. So if you can make eye contact, strike up conversations that are both positive and allowing them to feel helpful and also smiling you’ve got all the tools that you need.
